Necomitt Foundation Presidential Profile
Necomitt Foundation President Jeffrey Cole founded Necomitt Foundation (the Foundation) soon after he was inspired by the financial hardship situation an orphaned child was seen to have suffered in downtown Dallas, Texas, August of 2018. Deeply touched by the situation, Mr. Cole hardly could resist preparing to establish what he envisioned would become one of America’s most efficient philanthropic foundations sensible to the essential needs of principally the orphaned children, but also the underprivileged impoverished adults in society.
For Mr. Cole, philanthropy has been part of everyday endeavor from which the needy must benefit, and so his decision to begin the Foundation was nurtured and accentuated by his innate spirit of giving, abounding in and resonating from him toward public service. The same spirit guided him in the past to advance various modes of benevolences to impoverished peoples across cultures. Then came the thought process: the brainstorming about a pragmatic means to realistic Foundation activities that would satisfy pressing needs, and provide answers to questions of mission progression and reception, all in an effort to indemnify success marked by noticeable decrease in hardship on beneficiaries.
With the broad experience he earned working in the finance industry, Mr. Cole and his team of superior event planners began mapping out strategies on how best monetary donations that the Foundation will have received from donors could be applied to its mission, if the anticipated minimization or eradication of their hardship was desirable. And he realized same was desirable. From the taxonomy of planned monetary distribution into serviceable budgetary subheads that would allow for ease of expense, it became clear that, absent the comingling of funds, the application of donations to desired purpose in manners consistent with specific annual budgetary allocations would help kick-start the Foundation in a direction that will not only lead to accomplishment of its mission, but also satisfy donors’ expectation of a well-organized and accountable application of donations to the mission.
By the time the Foundation received operational status, its planned activities soon developed into desired heterogeneous pragmas—via initial provision of light services to recipients in areas of pressing need. This pragmatism measures in the divergent networks of palpable services that the Foundation began offering to beneficiaries in the intended larger areas of its operation, guided by strict adherence to its mission, and by the model of engagement prescribed by its Board of Directors (the Board). Given the foregoing plan of activity progression and efficiency, we anticipate a gradual growth of the Foundation consistent with its mission and in the direction prescribed and guided by the Board.
